Hi There! hope you guys doing well, lets talk about "positive thinking", positive thinking is one of the most important habit that every one should inculcate in their routine, we usually come across a lot of things that might make us happy or sad, in these situations - self control is very important and everyone should practice it.
There is a possible reason on why our mind always tilt towards the negative thinking, because I think it is trying to compare your current mindset with reality and past situations, it is trying to set again in that sad mood because I think its very simple process for mind and mind can do it easily. Any topic if you try to think and while thinking you try to reach the possible negative consequence that can fail you, that negative consequence comes from reality and past situations. Negative thinking comes from the situations where you fail or you are not able to handle that particular situation, that might be a new situation or any such thing that challenges you.
There are few tricks that can resolve the problem of negative thinking :-
1. Discuss the negative thoughts with your closed ones and try to get their views on it, their views might change the way of thinking and that will be a challenge for mind to again set in sad mood
2. Start meditating
3. Start counting numbers in your mind and make a milestone that you will count till 1000 today, this will divert your mind to specific goal and no more space to invest your time in negative thinking.
4. Try to frame a good sentence while thinking that boosts your confidence
5. Collect all good memories in which you where in your prime state and you were the best and try to analyze what technique you applied that time to do best and try to think that technique is the key to the success. Use that pattern where you were the best.
6. Try to become funny and be with those people who are funny and always happy, this will make your day ending up with good jokes and laughter's, remember - Laughter is the best medicine.
7. Write your problems on the piece of paper and start working on the solutions
8. Try to create this illusion in your mind, pick a title to all these negative thinking lets say "trash", then create a feeling of getting bored of this "trash", making this perception of getting boredom can reduce the occurrence of negative thought.
I think most of the problems in our life will get resolved if we make a habit of thinking positive always, I think this should be taught from the childhood itself to make a fit mindset.
